About Course
OSHA International Process Safety Management:
The PSM standard (29 CFR 1910.119) requires employers to implement safety programs that identify, evaluate, and control the hazards associated with highly hazardous chemicals used in their processes. A key provision of the standard requires employers to conduct a thorough risk analysis of the entire operating process.
Process Safety Management, or PSM, is an OSHA standard that requires employers to identify, evaluate, and control the hazards associated with the highly hazardous chemicals used in their processes.
The process safety management system program is divided into 14 elements. The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 1910.119 defines all 14 elements of the process safety management system plan. All of these elements are interlinked and interdependent.
